New Year's Day took Ken to the airport and got on the highway. Point of interest: Terry lost track of things and went past the last opportunity to fuel up for 50 miles. Managed to get to the nearest gas station on fumes! The place must have been a gold mine for the owners; no end to to the people pumping up and knoshing up in their store.
About 2 hours later, arrived in Lake Havasu. You may remember that this town bought London Bridge and had it transported over from England, when it appeared the Brits didn't really care if it fell down. Found our place several kilometers above the town and lake. A quick trip to Safeway and a local pizzeria got us settled in for the evening and ready for the next day. Terry too tired to Skype, crashed at 8:30. By the way, we can be Skyped at Geoffwatt51if you have Skype on your computer. You can also phone me on my car without charge either way at (778) 838-3861. We might not always be in it but you can try.
Have joined the local golf club as of Jan 2, London Bridge Golf Club, and play our first game tomorrow. Looking forward to playing many games while we are here!
